Hi!π,
‘Iron’ is an essential nutrient⭐️ crucial for a child's healthy growth and development. Deficiency in Iron leads to ‘Anaemia’ which occurs when Haemoglobin in the blood is less than the optimal level. The body needs Iron to make Haemoglobin that carries oxygen throughout the body.
Childrenπ§πΆ are born with Iron stored in their bodies, but require a steady amount of additional Iron to fuel their growth and development. Therefore, it is crucial to keep up with your child’s Iron requirements at different ages to ensure your child’s healthy growth.
