Hair Fall During Rainfall ?!.

            As soon as the pitter-patter!☔️ of the raindrops๐ŸŒง start pouring in! so does the hullabaloos! of the scalp and hair start pouring in!.


           The higher levels of humidity during the monsoon season gives rise to various scalp and hair problems like a greasy scalp, scalp infections, dandruff, dry and frizzy hair, hair fall and what not!๐Ÿคท‍♀️


           However, one can avoid the scalp and hair problems during monsoon by practising good hair hygiene and proper hair care regimens.๐Ÿ‘



           Following are a few bits of advice to prevent hair fall during rainfall☔️ -


1. Avoid drenching the hair in rain!๐ŸŒง. Use scarfs๐Ÿงฃ, raincoats ๐Ÿงฅ, hats๐Ÿ‘’, umbrellas ☂️ to keep the hair safe from the environment. If one gets drenched in rain, washing and drying the hair properly is important to get rid off the pollutants present in rainwater and prevent hair damage.


2. Keeping hair and scalp clean ๐Ÿงด๐Ÿšฟis of utmost importance to prevent greasy scalp, scalp infections and dandruff. Use a mild, moisturising and chemical-free shampoo to maintain the pH of hair(4.5 and 5.0) and wash off the dirt and grime.


3. Conditioning ๐Ÿงดthe hair after shampooing is essential to seal the hair cuticles back up and lock the nutrients in and pollutants out making the hair shaft stronger, preventing tangles, breakage, split ends and hair fall.


4. Regular hair spa treatments give hair and roots the proper nutrition, prevents hair damage and excessive hair fall. Using hair masks that deeply nourishes, rejuvenates hair and scalp is important to maintain healthy hair and scalp. A good hair mask or Homemade hair masks like fenugreek mask, avocado mask ๐Ÿฅ‘, banana mask ๐ŸŒ, aloe vera mask, egg mask๐Ÿฅšprovides nourishment to the hair and scalp, makes hair soft and smooth, prevents hair fall and promotes hair growth. 


5. Hair serums help to add moisture and shine to the hair, prevents tangles, breakage, frizz, hair fall and makes them manageable and good smelling!. 9. Hairstyling tools and products cause a lot of distress and damage to the hair. Avoid using chemical-based products during monsoon as it will lead to greasy scalp and hair causing dandruff and other scalp and hair problems!.


10. A healthy and nutritious diet can make a huge difference to how the hair feels and look!. Including protein-rich, vitamin-rich foods like salmon๐ŸŸ, eggs๐Ÿฅš๐Ÿณ, dairy products๐Ÿง€๐Ÿฅ›, nuts๐Ÿฅœ, whole grains, green vegetables๐Ÿฅฆ๐Ÿฅฌ๐Ÿฅ—, spinach, carrots ๐Ÿฅ•, sweet potatoes๐Ÿ  , berries ๐Ÿ“etc. provide the required nutrition to maintain the scalp and hair health, add shine, promote hair growth and prevent hair fall. Drinking plenty of water ๐Ÿ’ฆand juices๐Ÿน is essential to keep the body, skin and hair hydrated. Good hydration ๐Ÿ’ง is necessary to promote hair growth and prevent hair fall.
